SCPS Internship Expo
Twice a year, in the fall and spring, Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS) hosts an internship expo for interested 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students. 133 credit hours are required to complete the internship program, which counts for an extra class on a student’s transcript. The upcoming internship expo will be held on April 11th from 5:30-7:30, at NOAH’s Event Venue at 720 Currency Circle, Lake Mary.
We will be attending, in search of a new intern for the summer season of 2019. We are looking for students who are open growing their resumes and work experience. Students we will be interested in should be social media savvy, have newspaper/journalistic experience, design, photography, video editing, or just be business oriented and ready to learn.
An internship with us would be excellent work experience, providing for working in a real-world office environment, learning the ins and outs of business conduct. Internships and job experiences also provide excellent soft skills to add to resumes and college applications, such as teamwork, adaptability, creativity, and problem solving.
